Week 2

This week was fantastic, as my birthday week usually is. I baked a brownie cake with chocolate sprinkles, which I drank with my classic mint tea, celebrating by myself as I usually do. I also celebrated with one friend last weekend and with another yesterday, eating our traditional pho and catching up on life. I was delighted to get beautiful flowers. And there's still one more celebration to go.

Here's to this year.

Week 1

It was a gift to start the new year off with an entire week off.

This week, I liked:

turning the page to a new year, making pumpkin bread, planning my birthday celebration (well, partly), catching up with a friend who I hadn't seen in a while over tea and exchanging surprise gifts, dancing in the living room, and being full of hope and optimism for the year ahead.
